The road to Mlima

The murram road to Mlima is four kilometres, and after rain a vehicle will not take the last of it. The catechists walk it anyway, on Saturday afternoons, carrying the register and a bag of hymn books.

They have done it for eleven years. Nobody asked them to write this down and nobody put it in a plan, which is how most of what holds a parish together actually happens.
