St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, Kilima

History

The parish was cut from St. Monica's in 1989, when the settlements beyond the Kilima road had grown too far from the town church to walk.

The church on the hill was finished in 1994. The outstation at Mlima came ten years later and is still a corrugated hall; the congregation there has been raising money for a permanent church since 2011.
